The Treniers, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis on the Colgate Comedy Hour (May 1954). The first rock'n'roll performance on national television.

Back when Vegas was brand new...these guys invented the Showband! The Treniers. The guy on sax is my golfing buddy and friend Don Hill. Prior to his 50 years with the Treniers, Don played with Louie Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Don's 89 years old...not only does he still get in 18 every week..he shoots his age!!
